A NEW networking club, aimed at business decision makers and offering its members exclusive benefits, has been launched.

The Profile Club is the brainchild of Barbara Hallwood, managing director of Marketing Profile, an Altrincham-based marketing and events specialist.

The Profile Club was launched at the Manchester Airport Marriot Hotel last week at a breakfast event attended by a number of bankers, airlines, financiers, property developers, lawyers and one barristers' chambers, Lincoln House

Barbara Hallwood said the response to her new venture has been pleasing: "The Profile Club is more than just a networking club - it's a membership club and we'll be providing benefits for members, such as exclusive corporate opportunities, travel related incentives, plus much more.  We have some exciting plans for 2012."

She said the new organisation is targeted at decision makers in an organisation, rather than small businesses or sole traders.

Among the first to sign up as a member were private bank Adam and Co, followed by Bridging Finance, part of Manchester-based Jerrold Group.

Marketing Profile worked closely with Bloom Gallery in arranging their recent grand opening.

Bloom Gallery has opened in Goose Green, Altrincham displaying contemporary work from a number of artists including the Israeli artist David Gerstein.  Altrincham is the only place outside of London where his work will be displayed.

The opening event was a great success attracting some one hundred visitors and media attention.
